Luncheon. The event benefits our organization’s domestic
violence prevention and intervention programs, which have served the

our Story to the World

SafeHaven of Tarrant County will
join first global gathering of women’s shelter workers. In
September, for the first time in history, women’s shelter workers
from 51 nations around the world, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, will
meet in one place to call for an end to the global epidemic of
violence against women. Dr. Ashley Lind, Vice President of Client
Services, and Mary Lee Hafley, CEO, will head to Edmonton, Alberta,
Canada in early September to join a three-day summit of close to 800

www.CharityNavigator.org

SafeHaven received a four-star rating on Charity Navigator, the
largest and most used charity evaluator. Receiving four out of a
possible four stars - the highest score possible - indicates that
SafeHaven excels, as compared to other charities in America, in
successfully managing its finances in an efficient and effective
manner.

Aid for attorneys in Texas to assist with the representation of
