Volunteer cooks for SafeHaven

SafeHaven volunteer Dean Thurmond has been working in the kitchen at the Fort Worth shelter for six months as part of his training for Tarrant County College’s culinary program. He says he enjoys cooking for our clients because  “maybe they haven’t had a homecooked meal in awhile.” Check out this video interview with Dean by clicking here.
