HeartCard party downtown tomorrow!

Don’t forget! Tomorrow night (Thursday, Oct. 22) is the Sundance Square HeartCard Block Party!  Participating stores participating include Pappagallo Classique, Leddy’s Ranch, Jos. A Banks, Barse Sterling Silver, Retro Cowboy, Earth Bones and Milan Art Gallery. They will be selling HeartCards for $50. HeartCards allow you a 20 percent discount at more than 120 area stores from Oct. 23 (this Friday) through Nov. 1.  Tomorrow’s  party is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. For more information, call Valerie Salter at 817-546-6040, ext. 246.

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  Here are some ways for you to join us in the fight against domstic violence.

1.  Tell your friends and family about SafeHaven.

2. Contact our volunteer coordinator, Geri Medlin, to help us with holiday projects and more. She can be reached at gmedlin@safehaventc.org.

3. Donate toiletries, clothing, household goods or furniture to our resale shop, Berry Good Buys, at 1701 W. Berry St.
