Birdies for Charity is a great way to get involved with the SafeHaven! If you donate through Birdies, Colonial Country Club Charities will donate an additional percentage of your contribution directly to us. You can make a one-time contribution, or you can “pledge” a certain amount to be multiplied by the number of birdies made in the upcoming Crowne Plaza Invitational Golf Tournament. Hurry and participate before May 17th!
In 1985, twenty-five women from the Mid-Cities, disturbed by domestic violence in Northeast Tarrant County, founded Mid-Cities Supporters of the Shelter, a tax-exempt (501)(C)(3) organization in support of The Women’s Shelter in Arlington.
In February of 2006, The Women’s Shelter and Women’s Haven merged to become SafeHaven of Tarrant County, and their name was changed to Mid-Cities Supporters of SafeHaven. Their mission remains the same: (1) to educate victims of domestic violence about available refuge and support services; (2) to increase community awareness of domestic violence issues; and (3) to provide volunteer and financial support to SafeHaven.

We accept donations daily at Berry Good Buys. Since the late ’80s our resale shop has been a direct link between SafeHaven and the community. 
Located at 1701 West Berry in Fort Worth, Berry Good Buys accepts donations Mon-Fri from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We prefer clothing be in bags and household items be in boxes. The Colleyville Woman’s Club’s Cup Runneth Over!
This dedicated group of more than 200 members are proud supporters of SafeHaven. Now in its 32nd year, the Colleyville Woman’s Club has surpassed the $2.5 million mark in fundraising for worthy causes and is dedicated to serving the people within and around Northeast Tarrant County. Providing food, clothing and shelter, boosting educational programs, offering scholarships, improving the environment, and enhancing community safety are but a few of the many ways the Colleyville Woman’s Club programs and member volunteers assist its neighbors in need.
