SafeHaven of Tarrant County is excited to announce the selection of 10 honorees for the 26th Legacy of Women Award. The event, which will be held Thursday, Oct. 18, will begin at 10 a.m. at the Fort Worth Convention Center.
The celebrated Legacy of Women Award recognizes remarkable women in Tarrant County for their leadership, impact and commitment. The 2018 award winners join an impressive past-honoree list filled with community leaders who have gone above and beyond in their contributions to Tarrant County.

2018 marks SafeHaven’s 26th Legacy of Women luncheon where 10 influential women who make a difference in Tarrant County will be honored for their outstanding achievements. Legacy of Women has a rich history in the Tarrant County community as 600+ guests, donning purple for Domestic Violence Awareness Month, gather to enjoy a mimosa reception, seated lunch and keynote speaker. A raffle and mystery wall will entertain guests during the event.
Troy Vincent, NFL’s Executive Vice President of Football Operations, is the keynote speaker for this year’s event. Vincent, who is considered a national leader as an advocate against domestic violence and sexual assault, will share his personal story of growing up in a home with domestic violence.
