Dial “0” for English or “2” for Spanish
As of November 1, 2020, the PAIP program will only accept referrals from the Tarrant County Court System, Tarrant County Community Supervision and Corrections Department, and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services – Tarrant County. We can only accept referrals who provide a copy of the client's offense report (redacted allowed) or a completed BIPP Information Sheet at the time of Intake.
The PAIP program provides BIPP services to clients referred by probation, parole, diversion, and CPS. The stresses caused by the pandemic can lead to more conflict in the home, and we believe it is crucial to continue to provide services during this time.
If you are a new client you need to call 817-548-0880 then dial “0” for English, and “2” for Spanish. The intake specialists will gather your information and place you on an intake wait list. Provide your personal, active phone number where you can be reached when it is time to schedule your virtual appointment. It is also helpful to have a working email address as well.
The intake specialists will answer your questions about the forms, which can be completed with a cell phone if you do not have access to a computer. On the day of your Orientation you will click the “Make A Payment” tab to make your first payment.
Due to the social distancing required to slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Partner Abuse Intervention & Prevention (PAIP) program is conducting its services online until further notice. Clients participate in 27 weeks of virtual groups with facilitators and peers. Groups are held in the afternoon, evenings, and Saturday morning. Our administrative assistant will reach out to you with further instructions. All staff have temporary work cell phones they will use to contact you, so please save the number when they call, and use it to contact them during the pandemic if you cannot reach them via email. Because of this, it is important you provide your facilitators with your current phone number and email address. PAIP has set up external Wi-Fi for clients without internet access at home. Clients can simply park in the PAIP lot and connect to Wi-Fi via laptop, tablet, or cell phone for group.
We reserve the right to exit participants who do not adhere to these policies.
We are now taking online payments for groups in the form of a debit or credit card. If you do not have either, you can purchase a Visa gift card from the same stores you purchased your money orders. Click on the “Payments Tab" at the bottom of the page to make your weekly payments.
The Partner Abuse Intervention & Prevention (PAIP) program is an accredited BIPP provider at SafeHaven of Tarrant County. The accreditation comes from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice: Community Justice Assistance Division. PAIP provides 27 weeks of group classes for intimate partner violence (IPV) offenders. Clients are accepted pending an Intake Assessment where SafeHaven determines if the referee meets program criteria. All referrals must provide a copy of the client’s offense report or a BIPP Referral Information Sheet, included below, that contains the arrest incident summary, client’s SID number, and any mental health or substance use diagnoses, as applicable. SafeHaven reserves the right to accept or deny clients, and terminate its services pending a violation of the Agreement for Services clients sign at Intake.
