Donate Items

Immediate Needs

SafeHaven provides the women and children residing in our shelters with all their needs during their stay, including clothes, toiletries and baby care items. Please consider donating any of these items, as well as those listed on our Immediate Needs List, which represent our most needed items this month.

Product Donations

Manufacturers, retailers and other businesses are encouraged to donate in-kind goods and surplus inventory items. For additional information, email Mallory Cox at mcox@safehaventc.org or call 817-502-7154.

Professional Services

We are always looking for individuals and businesses willing to donate their time and talents to help with special events, day-to-day operations and fundraising. Among the professional services SafeHaven needs are landscaping, catering, equipment rentals, audio-visual, videography, photography,  printing and special events.  If you are interested in donating a service, email Mallory Cox at mcox@safehaventc.org or call 817-502-7154.

Ana's Baskets

Help our clients as they exit shelter and enter housing by putting together "Ana's Baskets" filled with cleaning supplies. Visit our Ana's Baskets page for more information.

Household and Clothing Items

Berry Good Buys resale store serves a vital role for our clients who often give up everything to flee for safety. Donations of new and gently-used clothing and household items stock the closets at our emergency shelters to meet clients’ needs when they enter. Extra clothes and items are sold at Berry Good Buys with all proceeds benefiting SafeHaven. For additional questions or to schedule a furniture pick-up, please call 817-921-2793 or email bgbstaff@safehaventc.org.

Third Party Fundraisers

If you are interested in hosting your own fundraiser to support SafeHaven, we are excited to have your support! In order to apply to host a fundraiser, please read the guidelines on our Third Party Fundraising page. If you have additional questions, please contact Brittany Hickcox at bhickcox@safehaventc.org or 817-502-7132.

Seasonal Drives

  • School Supply Drive

Your business, church or school group can host a school supply drive to collect backpacks, school supplies, and shoes for kids staying in SafeHaven's shelters. While the greatest need for school supplies is in August, we use donated supplies year round. For additional information, email Mallory Cox at mcox@safehaventc.org or call 817-502-7154.

  • Thanksgiving Baskets

Fill a basket to feed a SafeHaven family this Thanksgiving! We provide a list of items needed for baskets, you shop and return it to SafeHaven. Please reach out to Mallory Cox at mcox@safehaventc.org or (817) 502-7154 for more information.

  • Santa's Sack

Every year SafeHaven opens two “Santa’s Sack” storefront sites for 10 days in December to collect donations of new toys, clothing and gifts. We then use the donated items to create the “SafeHaven Mall," allowing our moms and children to “shop" for special gifts they can wrap and exchange with each other. To make this magic happen, we need lots of help! From donating, collecting and sorting gifts to volunteering at the stores, if you or your organization is interested in being part of a true holiday miracle, email Courtney Scull at cscull@safehaventc.org or call 817-502-7168. • Adopt A Family

Shop for and provide holiday gifts for one of our transitional living families who are working to become financially stable and independent. To "Adopt a Family" and receive a profile which includes sizes and specific gift wishes, or request more information, contact Courtney Scull at cscull@safehaventc.org or call 817-502-7168
