Volunteer Spotlight- Rhonda Brunson

We are honored to highlight this month’s volunteer, Rhonda Brunson! As a volunteer and a professional photographer, Rhonda captures the strength and beauty domestic violence survivors, and is enthusiastic to share her vision with others.

Since 2014, Rhonda has volunteered at the Fort Worth shelter in Client Services.  She works side by side with staff and hand in hand with clients.  There is no task too big or too small for Rhonda. She is patient, compassionate, dedicated, and invested.  In addition to her help at the Fort Worth shelter, Rhonda is always available to help wherever she can.  She has photographed our special events, taken on art exhibits, and created the Choose Courage Foundation.  The mission of the Choose Courage Foundation is to grow awareness about domestic violence through art, inspire those trapped  in a cycle of abuse to seek help, and cultivate courage among all.

SafeHaven is thankful for the support of Rhonda Brunson and for the mission that the Choose Courage Foundation promotes.  She is an outspoken voice for survivors of domestic violence and we are proud to call her a part of the SafeHaven family!
