Are you ready to get “your rear in gear” for a great cause?!?! The 2017 Jiggle Butt Run registration is open and we would love for you to join us for a healthy start to the New Year while supporting SafeHaven of Tarrant County.

What is the Jiggle Butt Run?

The Jiggle Butt Run 5K  was started 11 years ago to encourage women to have a great time, promote fitness while getting an awesome start toward a healthy new year.

The course meanders through the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) community and surrounding scenic neighborhoods. The Expo and all the fun before and after the race will be indoors at the University Center Building.  Bring your friends, daughters, mothers, and grandmothers and come celebrate your jiggle! The race start and finish will be in front of College Park Center on the UTA campus in Arlington, Texas.

All proceeds from the race will benefit SafeHaven of Tarrant County programs, and we will also be accepting donations of goods to help stock our shelters with immediate shelter needs.

“We are excited to celebrate another great year of the Jiggle Butt Run 5K Race.  Since its inception, founders Mary Hibbs, Shelley Tardy, and Karen Bondurant have passionately supported SafeHaven of Tarrant County and the comprehensive services we provide to families affected by domestic violence in our community.  The donations received from this annual event are significant in achieving our mission to end domestic violence through safety, support, prevention, and social change.”

– Kathryn Jacob, President and CEO of SafeHaven of Tarrant County
