Happy women’s month!
Happy International Women's Month!
This March, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and impact of women - both those making history today and those who paved the way before us.
In the 1970s, a group of women in our community recognized the urgent need to address domestic violence. They took action, creating the foundation for what has grown into SafeHaven of Tarrant County.
Because of their determination - and the countless strong women who have carried this mission forward - we continue to innovate and expand our work to keep families safe.
As we honor the trailblazers who break barriers, we also commit to standing with the women who still face them. Together, we can create a future where every woman can live in safety.

Provide daily needs
Most families come to shelter with nothing more than the clothes they are wearing. When you donate items, you ensure women and children have a comfortable stay in shelter by providing access to their daily needs like toiletries, clothes, bedding, school supplies and more.
